Sanctum Policies

The policies outlined below are standards for all events hosted by Sanctum; failure to follow these policies will warrant a dismissal from an event and possibly future events. Sanctum follows strict guidelines on process to determine if a person or persons may continue to attend events in the case of failure to heed policies or event code of conduct guidelines.

Event Code of Conduct and Consent Policy

All attendees agree to follow the Event Code of Conduct and the rules and guidelines in the Consent Policy. They understand that the Event Code of Conduct and Consent Policy are posted publicly on Sanctum Event Pages. They agree that they are personally responsible for informing themselves about such policies before attending an Event and ensuring that their behavior is compliant with any and all policies and rules that are posted. I agree that failure to adhere to the Event Code of Conduct and/or Consent Policy may result in expulsion from the Event without refund.

Risk and Personal Responsibility Policy

Participation in this event and/or the activities occurring at this event carry an inherent risk of physical injury, emotional injury, damage or loss of property, or other harm. Participation in any activity is voluntary. Should an attendee choose to take part in any activity, it is their responsibility to inform themselves of potential risks of the activity and any equipment involved and to take part only with my fully informed consent.

Privacy and Confidentiality Policy

All people associated with or attending Sanctum events have the right to choose their own level of anonymity inside or outside of the community. Revealing personal information or activity about a person at a Sanctum event or outside a Sanctum event without explicit consent is prohibited.

Mind Altering Substance Policy

To create a low risk consent forward environment all use of alcohol and/or other mind altering substances is discouraged. Intoxication or use of aforementioned intoxicants during events is prohibited unless specifically authorized in event description.

Firearms and Weapons

No firearms or weapons permitted on the premises of event venues including non dangerous replicas of firearms.

Illegal activity

No illegal activity of any kind will be tolerated. Solicitation or negotiation to any form of payment in exchange for sexual or BDSM activities during the event is forbidden. Such conduct is illegal under Washington State and local statutes.

Voluntary Participation

All attendees agree that participating in this event and any activities at this event is voluntary and subject to the attendees own discretion and consent. They understand that they am free to leave the event at any time. They agree that they are attending the event of there own free will and have not been coerced or deceived into participating in this event or any activities at this event.

Adult Activity Policy

Attendees may be exposed to nudity, sexual activity, practices of bondage and discipline, sadomasochism, and power exchange between consenting adults. If attending these events you agree that you find none of these subjects or activities to be offensive or objectionable to in any manner. You further understand Sanctum events do not involve nor include entertainers which provide adult entertainment.

Consent Policy

Attendance to Sanctum events does not indicate or imply consent to engage in any contact or activity with any other person. Prior consent must be obtained from other persons before engaging in any contact or activity with them. Prior consent must be affirmative, verbal, explicit, and specific. Once given, consent may be revoked at any time, at which time all contact or activity must immediately stop. I understand that the word “Safeword” is a verbal revocation of consent. Continuing any activity that was consented to after one or more parties has used “Safeword” is a violation of the consent of those parties and grounds for expulsion from an event and/or any future events. Any consent incidents should be brought to the attention of a Dungeon Facilitator or event host.

We promote active and clear consent at all our events.  Please read through the consent handout we have available from the consent academy https://www.consent.academy/what-is-consent.html. Do not touch any person or their belongings without consent.

Legal Age

Sanctum Events, LLC services and products traded are only available to individuals who are at least 18 years old. Sanctum reserves the right to ask for proof of age from attendees. They must acknowledge and understand that Sanctum in its sole discretion may refuse to provide services and products to you until satisfactory proof of age is provided. All events where adult activity may be present will require you to show a State or Federal issued form of Identification.

Covid Policy

It is important to do our best to support the community's awareness and health in regards to COVID variances. To mitigate the potential risk of spreading the virus we follow the current guidelines provided by the CDC. We encourage everyone to make choices based on their own risk profile in regards to Covid and other airborne viruses. We ask that if you do show signs of possible infection or have knowingly been exposed that you test before you attend an event and wear a mask. Currently we will not reimburse ticket costs if you choose to stay home from the event. Stay informed by reading the CDC Prevention documentation.

Cell Phone Policy

Cell Phone use is restricted inside the event venues except in designated cellphone areas. Use of cell phones for photography is permitted in accordance with “Privacy and confidentiality policies”. No photos or video of any kind may be created at a Sanctum event for the purpose of sale or use on adult entertainment sites.  For the comfort of other attendees phone cameras should be covered with blue tape if the phone is in use during events.

Volunteers

Volunteering opportunities are provided to allow access to events for those who can not or choose not to afford the cost of a ticket. Volunteer rules are defined under a Barter agreement that exchanges goods or services for the price of admission to an event. Volunteers receive no other benefit and accept no status in Sanctum outside of the role they fill at the event or on social media platforms.
