Origins and Evolution

Sanctum, originally established as Black Onyx in the Spring of 2024, emerged from a vision to cultivate a thriving kink community in the Seattle area. The founders, inspired by their experiences and a desire to create inclusive spaces, sought to facilitate events that would cater to the diverse needs and interests of kink-minded individuals. While the name has evolved, the core values of strength, stability, and community remain at the heart of Sanctum's mission.

Fostering Connections and Creating Inclusive Spaces

Sanctum is dedicated to building a strong and supportive community where individuals of all backgrounds, identities, and kink preferences can come together. We strive to create welcoming and inclusive environments that encourage connection, exploration, and personal growth.

  • Themed Munches: Casual events centered around specific topics, encouraging conversation and connection among like-minded individuals.

  • Taster Events: Opportunities for individuals to explore different kinks in a controlled environment, whether as a top or bottom.

  • Vanilla-Adjacent Community Events: Events designed to promote community and inclusivity, welcoming individuals who may not identify as part of the kink community but are open to learning and connecting.

Beyond Parties: Education, Awareness, and Growth
